Jim's is always a great place to eat! The salad bar has a lot of selections and any meal selected you can be sure it taste great and is reasonably priced.

It was awesome great food but the waitress was amazing she was talking to this elderly lady and she was so sweet and kind now I know why the place is called jims FAMILY restaurant. Lacey the waitress she really goes above and beyond great experience.

I had an excellent experience at Jim’s on February 13 2018. The staff were friendly and the food tasted amazing, and for the portion size and quality, the price is reasonable. I had the fried chicken livers which were great, and the cream corn was very tasty also. The pecan pie was also great! The only drawback is that the place is cash only, however, they let you know before you enter the restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy and they have a lot of options.

12-29-19 Happy New Year from Lee County Floridians to Summerville, GA! Stopped in for a bite. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere this Sunday was quite warm and heartfelt. Waitress was helpful, and patient. Can't wait to visit again!

Very friendly staff. Salad bar is below average as far as some products & too many common items not coffered. Fried chicken was too dark & with my experience it means old burt fryer oil.

My wife and I stopped in before the supper crowd and ate. If you like a good salad bar, Jim's is the place to go in Summerville. There give you many different things to choose from. We also really enjoy the catfish filets and burgers. It is hard to go wrong when eating here.

Great service with the blandest food East of the Mississippi. Ordered the fried catfish with French fries and garlic bread. The fries and the catfish had absolutely zero flavor or seasoning. Pro tip- bring your own marinade. Oh yeah, don’t forget your fly swater. The bright side is the house flies help distract you from the most flavorless $11 meal ever. If you’re just interested in sweet tea and want great service this is the place for you.

Gravy tasted like the can or box it came out of and was gross. Roll was just about the cheapest roll you can buy. It was dry and served cold. Chicken was fresh fried and very good. Salad bar was fabulous. People was nice and everything was clean. Air conditioner was on so high my feet hurt with the cold. They would not turn it down. Everyone was showing signs of being cold around us. Price was cheap. Under 20 Bucks for two people.

The food was overcooked and a little bland, but the salad bar was pretty good.

I've been here many times and the food is outstanding. I visited this restaurant today and it was not that busy. I was with 3 other people and an hour later we were still waiting for our food. We ended up walking out as other groups who got there after us were receiving their food already. Jim's is known for their good food but their service is horrible and very unprofessional.

To be honest I was a little surprised at first, let me explain. Walked in and you could tell that this place is plain and simple. On the door it says no credit cards or debit cards. And the decor is dated. However it gets better. Asked a few questions about the breakfast bar and the girl wasn't really friendly however my wife and I decided to stay and order off the menu. Menu prices are fare and the variety of choices isn't to bad. My wife ordered scrambled eggs light, bacon crisp, with a pancake. I ordered the western omelette with toast. To our surprise the order was perfect in every way and the food was great. Total check with drinks and all right at $17.00 .... So the old sane don't judge a book by its cover is right. We will be back and will bring friends with us next time. Try it out and give them a chance I don't believe you will be disappointed. And hopefully the young girl was just having a bad day, let's give her another chance. ENJOY I know we will...

Good food and great service. Friendly and homey atmosphere. We eat there many times a week. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Along with regular menu they have buffet lunch and a Sunday buffet with a meat and two vegetables and bread. Specials each evening. A big salad bar my favorite!❤😁

The Summerville classic, everyone's heard of Jims! From breakfast to burgers and salad to meat and veg, they pretty much have it all! Decent food, reasonable prices, nice people. Only complaint is restrooms are barely plus size accessible much less handicap accessible.

Always delicious. Everything our family has ever ordered has been excellent. Plenty of choices on the menu so that no matter what you'd like to eat, you'll be satisfied. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. You know a restaurant is a good one when the parking lot is never empty, and that certainly applies to Jim's. People just enjoy eating there. Really good family restaurant. A huge plus is no alcohol served, so zero drama on that front. Highly recommend Jim's.

I love Jims! Excellent waitresses and food. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes it could be better. (I guess it's who the cook is and depends on their day?! 🤔) But the salad bar is always on point!!
